Project Narrative
Horizon Arches Residence was commissioned by a family seeking a sanctuary immersed in the landscape. The home flows with the terrain, using soft arches and sculptural curves to dissolve boundaries between architecture and nature. Interiors emphasize tranquility, daylight, and handcrafted finishes.
Design Intent
To create a timeless residence where architecture feels organic, like it has grown from the hillside itself. Every arch was designed to frame either light, sky, or the surrounding forest.
Build Challenges
1. Achieving the structural curvature of freeform concrete shells. 2. Balancing large glazed openings with thermal efficiency. 3. Crafting interiors where minimalism meets warmth without sterility.
